In commemoration of Wind Day, celebrated on June 15, IMPSA seeks to stress the importance of wind energy worldwide.

To this end, IMPSA organized visits to its plant in Godoy Cruz (Mendoza) for primary and secondary school students and for students in a master’s degree program in Energy. The objective of these visits was to show them where wind generators are produced with cutting-edge technology and to help raise awareness of the benefits of wind energy for the environment.

The Company also participated in the celebration of Global Wind Day in the province of La Rioja.

IMPSA took advantage of wind day celebrations to reaffirm its position as the largest investor in and generator of wind energy in Latin America. IMPSA uses third-generation technology to further promote the use of renewable energies.

In Brazil, IMPSA organized different types of contests that ended with an event on Wind Day held at IMPSA’s plant in Pernambuco.
